Frondesk Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Frondesk — an AI assistant you reach on one number, that reads and acts on the accounts you choose to connect. Because Frondesk works on your behalf across real, sensitive accounts, it's worth being clear up front about what the service does, what we promise, and what stays your responsibility. This page is written in plain English.
This is a working draft of Frondesk's beta terms, not final legal text. It hasn't been reviewed or approved yet and may change before it's considered version 1. Version terms-draft-0 · Last updated Jul 8, 2026.
1 · Acceptance
By creating a Frondesk account, connecting an account, or messaging Frondesk, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. These terms are a binding agreement between you and Frondesk (operated by the maker of frondesk.ai).
Frondesk is currently offered as a beta — an early, evolving product. Using it means you understand and accept that beta nature, described below.
2 · The service
Frondesk is an AI assistant you reach through ordinary messaging — you text one number over WhatsApp or SMS, and Frondesk carries out requests across the accounts and services you've connected:
- It acts on your behalf. When you ask Frondesk to read an email, schedule an event, look something up, or send a reply, it performs that action on the connected accounts you've authorized — Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, and other services you link.
- It works within what you grant. Frondesk only touches the accounts you connect, and only within the permissions (scopes) you approve when you link them.
- It's a convenience layer, not the account itself. Your email, calendar, and files continue to live with their original providers; Frondesk is a way to reach and operate them through chat.
3 · Beta status
Frondesk is provided "as is" during beta. Being clear about what that means matters:
- It may change or break. Features can be added, changed, or removed at any time, and the service may have bugs, downtime, or unexpected behavior.
- No uptime guarantee. We don't promise the service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
- Not for mission-critical use. Please don't rely on Frondesk for anything where a missed message, a delay, or a mistake would cause serious harm — time-sensitive, safety-critical, or high-stakes matters deserve a system built for that.
4 · Your responsibilities
You stay in charge of your own accounts and how Frondesk is used on them:
- You own your accounts and content. The accounts you connect, and everything in them, remain yours — connecting them to Frondesk doesn't change that.
- You're responsible for what you authorize. Actions you ask Frondesk to take — sending, deleting, scheduling, sharing — are taken on your instruction, and you're responsible for them.
- Use it lawfully. Don't use Frondesk to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, or access accounts you're not entitled to.
- Keep your access secure. Protect your phone, number, and any credentials tied to your Frondesk account. Because Frondesk acts on requests from your verified number, keeping that number secure is important. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.
5 · AI limitations
Frondesk is powered by AI, and AI is not perfect. Please keep this in mind:
- AI can make mistakes. It may misunderstand a request, act on the wrong item, or produce inaccurate results. Review important actions — especially ones that send, delete, share, or schedule — before relying on them.
- Not professional advice. Frondesk isn't a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other expert advice. Don't treat its output as such.
- You make the final call. For anything consequential, confirm the result yourself rather than assuming it's correct.
6 · Accounts & access
You decide what Frondesk can reach, and you can change that at any time:
- You authorize each connection. When you link a provider — Google, Microsoft, or another service — sign-in happens on their own screen, and you approve the specific access Frondesk is granted.
- We act only within granted scopes. Frondesk won't reach beyond the permissions you approved for a given connection.
- You can disconnect anytime. Remove a connection from Frondesk or revoke it directly with the provider whenever you want; after that, Frondesk can no longer act on that account.
7 · Privacy
How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy. It explains what we access, what little we store, how AI processing and optional human review work, and the controls you have to disconnect or delete. By using Frondesk you also agree to that policy, so it's worth reading alongside these terms.
8 · Termination
This relationship isn't a trap — either side can end it:
- You can stop anytime. Disconnect your accounts and stop messaging Frondesk, or ask us to delete your account. That ends your use of the service.
- We may suspend or end access. We may suspend or terminate access — including to keep the service, its users, or third parties safe — for example in response to abuse, unlawful use, or misuse that puts the service at risk.
- What survives. Terms that by their nature should outlast the account — like the liability and warranty sections — continue to apply after it ends.
9 · Liability & warranty
Because Frondesk is an early beta offered free of the promises a mature paid product would carry, the following applies to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- No warranties. Frondesk is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
- Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, Frondesk and its maker are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, missed messages, or losses arising from actions the AI took or failed to take.
- Your local rights. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here removes rights you have that can't be waived under the law where you live.
10 · Changes to these terms
Since Frondesk is in beta and evolving, these terms may change. When we make material changes, we'll update the date and version at the top and flag them where reasonable. Continued use of Frondesk after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you don't agree to a change, please stop using the service and disconnect your accounts.
